Up until a few years ago getting areal shots of anything was really hard to do and it would cost thousands of dollars to shoot video. Today Ventrac is trying out new technology to help get awesome areal shots of their tractors. Ventrac bought something called a drone. A drone is an unmanned aircraft that is controlled by a remote that you can attach a camera to. Drones a few years ago used to be only used in military application but today you can see many manufactures seeing the benefit that the drones have to offer. Drones can easily capture aerial photos and videos. Many of them also have settings where if the drone suspects it has problems it will fly back to the home base so there is no damage to the unit. Since drones are now going mainstream, it is easy for anyone to afford them and use them in many applications. Below is a photo of Ventrac testing their new drone system.
